My table

I tried a little something different on my dining room table this year. I usually don't have the leaf in the table but decided after Thanksgiving to leave it in until after Christmas. Rather than the usual things I put on the table I went with some candles and odd look carolers that I bought years ago. I think they came from Christmas around the world but I can't be positive. The candle holders are actually globes off of an old ceiling fan.

I like it very much. What a CLEVER idea...and the warm glow is so tranquil.

Anni, Thanks. I remember seeing the idea for using the ceiling fan globes on another blog. I liked it but never had the opportunity to do it until now.

Hi Ann, I popped over from Mad Sandra's blog list and found it was you. A nice discovery.
Your table is so warm and inviting. I had forgotten about Christmas Around the World. I'm sure a few of my decorations are from their as well.

The table looks lovely. I always put Christmas decorations on my dining room table so we eat in the kitchen at Christmas!
