A matter of balance

It's nice to have balance in your life. Being off for four days and being bored out of my mind gave me a greater appreciation for the fact that I can still go to work and I have a job to go to. Going back to work gave me a greater appreciation for having a home to go to where I can lounge on the couch and do nothing.

Gibbs says humans are just plain silly.

I like the texture! Is it a screen door?

Though I hate to admit, I sometimes think Gibbs is right. And I am always grateful to have a home to come home to...where I am warm or cool, depending on the season.

Used to when I worked, if I knew I was getting an extra day off for some reason, I would get so excited I could not sleep, and then be too tired to do anything that I wanted to do. But if I went to work, and got to come home early, I got so much more done.

It seem the general consensus of opinion is that Gibbs is quite correct in his assessment. Clever Gibbs!

Yes, much as I complain about my job and am looking forward to retiring I am very thankful to still be working right now.

Gibbs is right, but pups still love us anyway. We drove around town just to get out of the house the other day. It was good.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Ginny, good eye. Yes, I took this through the screen on my sliding glass door

Grace, and isn't it funny that he didn't need a single canine to back up his assesment. His opinion was totally backed up by the same humans he claims are silly. I guess he proved his point...lol

Sandee, lucky for us that dogs aren't judgemental. I think if I had to be stuck in the house for longer than I was I would have had to go out for a drive too.

I'm with Gibbs. My version is, "We're all a bunch of nuts." No sense worrying about it, enjoy it as much as we can.
