Now that's cold

These are not my pictures. I borrowed them from Facebook. I had to share them though. These are from Feb 29th taken at Dobbins Landing which was always referred to as the public dock when I was growing up. This is in Erie, Pennsylvania and shows what can happen on the shores of Lake Erie when you have high winds and bitter cold temperatures.

Ginny not sure what happened with the pictures but they were fine when I looked.

CheerfulMonk, I know

Anni LOL, I wish I could

Carol, this is a bit extreme since it's right on the lake shore.

Kate, it sure is

Sandee, I can only imagine what it would have felt like to be walking through there witht he wind and the water coming up like that

JoyfulHomemaker, my sentiments exactly :)

wow - but not in a good way - other than glad it's only photos - and I'm not living there...

the more I see of snow and now this ice stuff, glad I live somewhere in the world where there's nothing like this happening on my front door step...

we got some rain yesterday ... not much, although I can see it's still slightly damp down in the concrete path/grass parting of dry ground...but we really need steady rain for a few days (or preferably whilst I sleep)
