Low ambition

But it was a wonderful relaxing day off. I played on the computer and let Gibbs out. I watched some TV and let Gibbs out. I did some laundry, and let Gibbs out. I did a little reading and let Gibbs out. Do you see a pattern here? It seemed like every time I turned around he wanted to go out.

The highlight of the day was when I spotted my neighbor going from my driveway to the driveway across the street with his snow blower. I was extremely greatful because I did not want to have to go out there and shovel

Gibbs wants you to know that if you hear he did something wrong, don't believe it. He was framed.

Happy March everyone.

Sounds like the perfect day to me. Lately I always say that anymore, a good day for me is when nothing happens. Gibbs looks all groomed!

I bet in the time it took to read about your day Gibbs wanted out. (Kidding). Your neighbor was very kind to clear walks & driveways. (I so dislike snow)

Gibbs was just being your personal trainer by going in and out so often .... or was he just enjoying that lovely white snow. Gibbs was framed - love it!

It's nice to have good, helpful neighbors. We think Not Me did whatever Gibbs was ramed for.

That was very nice of your neighbor!

Neighbors like that is a real blessing. As for the out thing, I have the same thing with Bubbie. He really wants me to come out and stay...in summer, both are completely happy if we will come and sit on the porch with us. You can almost see Bubbie smiling when we do.

I know the pattern well. I let the cats out...let them back in...out...in....all day long. It's not warm enough to leave the door open for them, but they want to go out and sit in the sunshine...but be able to come back in to warm up. It's maddening. I'm ready for spring.

Ginny, it was a pretty perfect day.

Anni, You're probably right about Gibbs. I was so happy the neighbor did the driveway. My arm has been hurting and I knew shoveling wouldn't make it any better.

The Florida Furkids, it sure is. LOL you could be right about Not Me being the guilty party

Lin, the worst part about the in and out thing this time of year is the amount of mud he will track all over the floor. Even if I wipe his paws when he comes back in he still leaves muddy prints all over.

AND Gibbs is not looking happy about being framed. Awesome job by the neighbor. That was nice. I understand about the dogs needing out. Seems like every time I start something we do the in and out thing....crazy.

no snow here, nor any "rain" - back to drought...

one of the weirdest things here about the drought is the streets that spring leaks, and not small leaks, gushing all over, one street it was like a 20' fountain, days upon days of water - going nowhere...
Watercare that manages our water of course want us to save water!
But because it's so dry - the piping underground is struggling with the shrinking land mass - and the pipes which aren't always modern just crack, split or whatever.
Watercare hasn't been able to keep up with the repairs, and there are angry residents about it all...

I can Gibbs idea a mile away - his Mistress needs more exercise...

Plus he knew, he had to signal that the neighbour was being very, very helpful...dogs know best, ya know...

Bless your neighbor! Sorry Gibbs can't go out and in by himself.

Nice to see that Gibbs is getting plenty of exercise. I should get up from the computer and go for a walk as well.

Pam, Gibbs doesn't like having a camera pointed at him...lol

Reeni, thanks and yes, very thankful for the neighbors I have

Catherine, oh my, that sounds like a real problem with the pipes.

CheerfulMonk, yes, the neighbor is a blessing. I've often thought about a doggy door with a fenced in area for Gibbs but that would mean he would be tracking in mud any time he wanted to. My floors get bad enough now even with me wiping his paws when he comes in
