Remember the anchor drawings I showed you the other day? Well here's the cake that the anchor went on. They asked for red and black colors they wanted it to say congratulations Marcus, class of 2020, and the picture of the anchor
it came out okay but I think it looks a little plain. The people who picked it up for quite pleased with it though so all is good
Yep I agree with the other two commenters at the great job and it looks just like an anchor. Maybe the people thought roses and flowers and things like that were not good for a young man whose about to go off into the Navy. I'm on here early because we're waiting to go to the Y to swim we have a 6 appointment at the YMCA and 8:15 appointment at the ultrasound doctor at 11 appointment at the bank you have to have appointments to get in the lobby! And after 12 a new $409 pool pump will be installed yowza
Your icing writing is brilliant. I once worked in a chocolate shop and at Easter we used to have to write on the eggs, I hated it and could never get the writing to look good. Briony x
Hi,, Your anchor came out great. Thanks for coming to my blog... I had fun with that one... There's a battle going on between my Canon and my iPhone.... I love to get people's thoughts/reactions...
Great job on the anchor. Cake looks yum. I am doing my best, which is not always easy, or on target of trying to stay away from sweets. YUCK....although I wanted a donnut yesterday and it was good. HAHA
I too like the preciseness of the layout - let's remember it's for a young man sailing into new waters...later he might want you to have frigate or similar on the cake!

WOW, this anchor is perfect! It is so good that it looks like a photo of an anchor. Your talents are boundless.
Ann, You did a great job! Thanks so much for sharing the finished project with us. Your work is perfection.
It looks very neat! There's only so much you can do with icing.

Perhaps 'plain' was appropriate. It looks terrific. Well done, you, for that fabulous anchor!
I think it turned out just right...just what a guy would like. You done good on that anchor.
Minimalism is the big thing these days. And as a 20yr NAVY mom, it's perfect.

It looks good! It may be a little plain but the customers loved it so I guess that's all that matters, right?
