When I left work yesterday it was 86 degrees. I didn't feel like doing my usual plop on the couch and watch tv. I went outside and did some weeding. The lawn guys don't do that part.
It doesn't look like much because my house has zero curb appeal but take my word for it, this is an improvement.
I finally put out the birds and butterflies Amanda gave me too.

Your colorful birds and butterflies are whimsical and cute. I'm impressed that you did weeding while it was 86 degrees outside! If I had my way, it would never get above 72.
I would have been melting in that heat. We are supposed to be getting a short heatwave soon and I'm not looking forward to it.

a little at a time and maybe those gifts will flip your care switch to ON like my valances did to my care button....
I hate weeding...worst job ever with yard work. Looking good!!
86° is unheard of for PA this time of year, isn't it?
It's looking good Ann! It's almost as hot there as it is here!
Weeding needs to be done here, too. I always have an excuse...know I dont need to be in the sun, my hips hurt so I can hardly sit down afterwards..always have those two things to deal with.
Got any perennials coming up?
Good for you. I'm glad you got some outside time and getting the weeds gone is a good thing. Love the decorations.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
"Curb appeal" is one of those realtor terms that doesn't mean a hill of beans, my friend. If, when you pull up into your driveway after a hard day's work, you're glad you're home... then your home has all the curb appeal it will ever need! ~Andrea xoxo
That was a hot one to weed in! It looks really nice too! I planted all my flowers yesterday when it was about 82.
It looks neat and tidy. ❤️
Looks good.
Very neat and cute!
Good for you doing some things outside. The lawn ornaments look great!
I like your lawn decorations.
