Without getting too whiny about it let me just say that work has been kicking my butt lately. We're short on people, we've been getting really busy because of the warmer weather and there are some people there who have put me over the edge. I told you before that I play store manager in addition to my bakery duties on Wednesdays and Sundays. The girl who is the cashier on Wednesday has been the biggest pain in my butt and I'm at my wit's end.
Enough about that though. Yesterday I had a cake order to do. This is for pre-school graduation. Red and black are the school colors for this area.

It is very artistic!! Seems like there is always that ONE person at every job, who just makes things so hard for us.
Awww, those people who make life miserable at work should have a taste of their own medicine. Black roses...that's a first for me. Pretty cake Ann.
There is always someone at a job site that has to be the biggest cause of strife. I do love the cake!!
There's always that 'one' and not so easily ignored . . . makes me wonder what the solution would be.
I think there's a lot of schools that have red and black for their colors there's several here and I know there's one in Savannah. It looks nice sorry about the workplace non Joy
Sorry about the PITA at work. The cake is pretty but I bet those preschoolers are going to have black teeth after eating it lol!
The cake is very pretty and there are always folks that are a pain at work. Bless their hearts. When they know there are work shortages they feel secure in their jobs so they can act like the idiots they are.
Have a fabulous day off tomorrow, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Sorry about the cashier being such a pain! There's always someone, isn't there? Nice cake!
Seems like a lot of places are shorthanded. Its crazy, people need work but they rather not work.
That cake is just gorgeous, Ann!! I know the kids will love it!!
That's a predicament about the cashier. I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm guessing you've been there a lot long than she has so.... I'd tell management that if it gets any worse, it's her or you and that you both can't work in the same store.
You sure didn't need this, did you. :-(

I ‘m so sorry about work, but I love that cake! The black flowers with the red are stunning.
Nice. Those colors look really striking together.
I think there is "one in very package" - referencing the cashier - not the ingredients in the cake mix. Interesting colours to work with but again lovely cake decoration you've created...
Sorry about the issues you are having at work. ((Hugs))
The cake is super cute!
