game changer

So even though I have enjoyed doing the diamond painting, I discovered that some of those little tiny gems caused a bit of eye strain. I had a handheld magnifying glass that I tried to use but it was a bit awkward to hold that and hold my work down as well. Amazon to the rescue. I ordered myself a large magnifying glass with a light that clamps to the desk. It makes it so much easier.

When not in use it folds up out of the way.

Perfect! I bet you will find other uses for it as well.

I like it! It really does make a world of difference in lighting up the work! Isn't Amazon wonderful? I love the convenience of it. However, I'm not sure my budget loves it as much as I do :)

you found the perfect thing to spend your OT dollars on. the man that used to live accross from us, had a dozen of these type things. he built models and carvings and tiny detail work. he had one that fit on his head and several simalr to this one and stands.. this is perfect. now what is next on the diamond agenda. wonder what J-lo's 5 million dollar green diamond would look like under this.

I have thought about one of those for hand sewing. I really enjoy hand sewing but struggle with some of it because I cannot see. LOL

That magnifier looks wonderful, Ann. I'm guessing it would be handy for other things too, like reading the tiny print on a medicine bottle or whatever. The older I get, the more I'm finding I sure could use one of those. Yes, I absolutely love Amazon!!! I'm the quintessential hermit... if I can order something online & avoid going out in public, I will do it in a heartbeat. ~Andrea xoxo

My husband has one of those for when he builds little structures for his train layout. Sure comes in handy.

I have one of those on my desk and it is a life saver. I usually just use it as a lamp over my work instead of looking through it though. Hugs!

That is very cool! I probably should use something like that but so far I'm getting away with just using my reading glasses!
