I tried something different with the writing. Instead of using a writing tip I used one that I normally use for borders. I kind of liked the look.
I made baby booties out of marshmallows. You you take two marshmallows and connect them with a toothpick then add a third one sideways to the bottom one and attach with another toothpick. Then using the star tip cover it with the frosting. Finish it off with a little bow
The last think I did was add a few little plastic duckies to finish it off.

It is cute! I like what you did with the writing. It makes it more bold and stands out more this way! How clever too with what you used to make the bootie. I would never have guessed how it was constructed! And now I want a piece of cake, lol :)
betty
I just adore everything about your cake!! The booties are unbearably adorable!! They look like real booties. And the ducks are so cute. I like the writing too, it is fancier. I am glad it is for a shower, so lots of people will see it. You are so creative. Now I am hungry.
that bootie is so cute! it does look real, like it could be worn. beautiful cake and I know they all loved it. I like the green too. it is a baby soft green
This is absolutely adorable!! How clever to make the baby bootie...did you learn this, or was it something tried for the first time!??! No matter....it turned out perfectly. Kudos.
I think all people should give you freedom to do what you want! This is so pretty/adorable. I bet they will be happy with it.
That is adorable! What a great way to make a cute baby bootie, too!
That is a beautiful cake and so cute! I love how you made the booties, and did the writing.

The cake is beautiful and I love those booties!!!
WOW what a fantastic job you did on that cake. I love it. It is a lot harder to decorate a cake than it looks. I took a class once and did awful!! :)
It's beautiful and heartwarming. I laugh when I remember the cakes Kaitlin and I used to decorate. Beautiful they were not. 😊
