While scrolling through Facebook one day I came across a post for a small crochet project. I thought to myself that's something I can do while I watch TV. It was for a worry worm.
The purpose of these is to be a type of anxiety toy. You can stretch it, play with it, tell it your worries or anything else that makes you feel just a little bit better. Since doing these I've also seen a little poem that can go with them.
Here he is without his eyes attached yet
And one with his eyes.

I have never heard of or seen one of these. It is cute. Would make a good gift, along with the poem, for an anxious friend.
He's cute! I would have fun playing with him even if I wasn't worried about something :)

It's adorable...I love those eyes. ❤️
I can see that they are a really tight stitch to make it curl!!!
he would make a good cat toy or even a cuddly toy for a child, minus the eyes of course. I can see how it would help with anxiety, pull it, tug it, twist it, squeeze it. like a worry stone. but soft
Awwwwww..... he looks like the perfect little worry buddy. Even his eyes look caring, like he's willing to carry the weight of the world for you, if you need him to. I love him, Ann!
Have fun at the wedding today. I hope the weather is cooperating for all of you. ~Andrea xoxo
The making of it would also help get your mind on something besides your worries.
How cute! Some of the people in hospice or at the hospital would probably use something like this...it would be comforting.
Never heard of a worry worm before but that looks like something fun to fiddle with!
OMG! I love it and those eyes, that just pulls the whole worry worm together.
Good for you on trying something new. It came out really cute. Hope it helps you.
Hope that you day went okay today. Thinking about you....
Never heard of this one! How cute and I’d think, very useful!

I'e never heard of a worry worm either but he sure is a cute little guy. What a clever idea and I love the color.
Very cute, and a clever idea. I like the colors you chose.
I've never seen one of those before. Very cute! I'd probably be ripping and pulling on it constantly and it would be a knotted mess. haha!
