Just some random pictures I took while wandering around in my yard.
This tree is actually in my neighbors yard
I kept seeing all these little pink things in my newly mulched front bed and I couldn't figure out what it was. I finally realized it was coming from this tree. It sure is pretty.
that is a pretty stepping stone, and the tree is gorgeous. maybe a cherry? or pink dogwood? zoom on a flower and use the google lens. i just poked it and it said japanese cherry. that is a maybe
Is that a crabapple tree in your neighbor's yard I wonder? I see a lot of trimmed branches and people usually do that to a crabapple tree....they trim it until it finally dies! Crabapple tree branches are supposed to bend over and touch the ground... at least the bottom ones anyway. But people don't like that so they chop-chop-chop those branches off without sealing the wounds and then bugs get into the tree and it begins to die. They sure are gorgeous in the spring, with their blossoms, but the crabapples can be annoying when they fall on the ground in autumn. The birds & squirrels love the apples in the winter though...provides them food in the cold.
Are those Lily of the Valley I see? Mine are about to bloom too and boy, do they spread like wildfire, eh? ~Andrea xoxo
Love the stepping stone. When Cory and I drove to his sisters house a couple weeks ago, I went through a couple of places that looked like a snow storm.....it was snowing! haha....Cottonwood tree snow! I love to get out and walk around the yard also.
I love the blossoms off trees. We have a crepe myrtle at the side of our house, and when the petals fall, it is like snow. Just beautiful. I enjoyed the photos from around your house.

That tree is pretty, do you know what it is? Maybe Redbud or Crabapple. I love your bird stepping stone!
I don't think we have trees like that here in Phoenix. I haven't seen too many blooming ones so thanks for showing the one in your neighbor's yard!
betty
Love the garden plaque! And like your pretty tree, they are a nuisance with petals(our pecan has catkins that fall all over our driveway)

It's a pretty time of year. And I like Dandelions too when I see them in a field or on a hillside! Enjoy your weekend!

I like the photos. The tree is beautiful. I know if that tree was dropping stuff in our yard Mark would hate it. It wouldn't bother me at all.
I love the stepping stone and the rest of your yard.
LOVE
Yes, those trees are so pretty! I wish they would hold on to their petals instead of dropping them all over!
