Yesterday I did have to work. It was only until 10:30 though and it is time and a half. Saturday evening I decided to color some Easter eggs. I haven't done that in years. I saw a post on BurtonAvenue.com about coloring them using vinyl silhouettes. I downloaded the free file and gave it a try. Some came out better than others. The one with the carrot must not have been stuck down well enough. My favorite is the green one.
It just occurred to me that I should have played an April fools joke on everyone. Oh well, maybe next year.

The eggs are so cute. We haven't colored eggs in a long time and I do miss that. I'm glad you only had to work a bit on Easter and that you had a homecooked meal by someone else. Aren't those the best? Have a great Monday!!
My brother drove me crazy on April fools day, he loved to prank, nothing serious, just things like making me look down at my shoe or turn around quickly to see what was about to get me... I am trying to decide if I want to prank him with a text, but I can see all the others do not like pranks. wait. that makes me want to do it. ha ha
love the eggs and a great idea.. I liked the gold one with the band around it best.
I've always wondered - what do you do with the eggs after Easter is over. Do you always hard boil them and then can you eat them? Do you want to? I know there is some way that you can remove the raw egg from the shell and then color the empty egg shell. I should probably ask Google all of this LOL (I never colored/decorated eggs for Easter so I know nothing about this process)
So pretty. I've not done eggs in years either. My son and I had lots of fun when he was growing up.

Ah your eggs looks great. That is something I have not done in years. Always used food coloring...like the silhouettes. Hope you had a lovely Easter.
Those are really cute! I haven’t colored eggs in years either. I got April-fooled today. Hubs came in and said he had cleaned up the garage. Went outside later and dagnabit, he April fooled me :)
