Yesterday when the sun was rising and I looked out the window I saw this
The
moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of
the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you
possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you,
absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always
doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there. ~Monica
Baldwin
The sun is but a morning star. ~Henry David Thoreau, Walden
Not the beautiful unobstructed view of the sunrise that I've seen on some of your blogs but beautiful none the less. It put a smile on my face early in the day and that was good enough for me.
Morning
is when the wick is lit. A flame ignited, the day delighted with heat
and light, we start the fight for something more than before. ~Jeb

I LOVE them all, in all their pink glory. But my favorite is the first one, the half bare tree stretched out against the palest of pink skies!!! Beautiful!
Early mornings are the best! I love the quiet, however it has been raining for weeks now, so it is pretty dark outside. Not as lovely as your sunrise!
Well you know how I do love a good sunrise :o) I often think that the sky is a never ending canvas and God is the painter; He sure does paint some pretty ones, doesn't He?
Love the photos and the quotes! Beautiful!
What a joy to wake up to that beautiful pink sky! That would put anyone in a wonderful mood to start their day!

Those are absolutely beautiful! I love sun rise and sun set view.
it's beautiful to me, early morning is my most favorite time of the day, just when the sun comes up above the rim of he earth. also since i am n early bird, i feel my best when i first get up, that is AFTER i get the old bones to stop creaking
It is indeed a wonderful sunrise, but to be honest about it, I could appreciate it more if I had some of whatever Monica Baldwin was on.
It is a lovely sunrise...but did you know that a red one such as this portents a bad day??
The saying over here goes,
Red sky at night, Shepherds delight.
Red sky in the morning, Shepherds warning.
I know for a fact that this doesn't always ring true but I just wondered if you had heard of the saying??
Woof! Woof! The scenery after a SNOW fall is always lovely. Wonderful Sunrise. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
I love the peacefulness of the morning and you have captured it here beautifully in both words and pictures.
Beautiful! Sometimes trees and roof lines give a sunrise character!
A lovely moment to catch, there is lots of energy in a sunrise for me.
What a beautiful sky! I would sit, have a cup of coffee and enjoy the snow, trees and that gorgeous pink in the sky. A perfect way to start the day. Really nice post Ann, thanks for sharing. :)
Gorgeous pinks and lavenders, Ann... WOW--that's awesome...
Hope today is a good day for you.

Wow what beautiful color. The day is better when it starts with a view like this.
What beautiful shots! Something tells me I'm not getting up quite early enough as I haven't noticed the morning light look so pretty in a long time.
