Before I get to the subject of today's post, I want to mention that this is day 1 of 11 straight days I'll be working. We are short staffed and there's someone on vacation so I'll be working without my regular days off. I'll still post but may not respond to comment or comment on your blogs until I get back to my normal schedule.
So, my family dinner on Sunday went well. This picture is kind of on the dark side but I got everyone sitting at the table.
The cutest of the bunch was this little peanut.
She has 3 big dogs at home so she was thrilled with Gibbs and would smile and giggle whenever he was in sight. She even got a little puppy smooch from him.
Gibbs actually didn't pay much attention to her. I suppose once she's chasing after him he'll take more notice of her presence.
I have a whole bunch of pictures of me and Presley that Amanda took with her cell phone but I'm holding off on those until I can get over the fact that I look horrible and fat in the pictures.

I really hate photos of myself... bring them On, we will love them... Presley is absoluted adorable...I had to laugh at the women at the table looking at the camera and both men staring away and into space, like take it already and STOP... typical males. glad to MEET your family... so sorry about the 11 days in a row
How nice to have a big dinner with your family! What a cutie the baby is! Hope all of that work goes well. Rest when you get home!
So happy for you - family dinner and granddaughter (and grown-up kids). 11 straight days - that is one helluva a haul...so just come home and put your feet up! Da Gibbs and baby photo is too precious...
Looks charming, nice to share a meal. Been a while since I have done this
And I linked this post to Happy Tuesday. This made me happy to see your family at your house.
I'm sorry you have to work so many days in a row. I'll be glad when you're done and can have some time off.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
So glad that you had and enjoyed your family time/dinner... You need to keep doing that .. Family is SO important. The older I get, the more I realize how important family is...
Presley is adorable. Seeing the little ones in the family especially after death is SO special. I remember after losing my daughter-in-law, that seeing my new Great Granddaughter was even more special....
Hugs,
Betsy
Sometimes, when stuff is shitty, I like to try to find the "plus" in it. So, yeah...all that work sucks...but it will pad the wallet, right?
LOVE the family time! I'm glad you had it and I hope there is more of it to come. And post those photos, will ya? I'm fat in photos (and real life--but I'm working on that) too---but we would just love to see you and your family photos.
Hang tough, Ann!
She is just adorable! And this is a good family dinner picture! Everyone looks happy. I hope you get paid time and a half! Take care of yourself.
So glad that your family dinner went well. She is a little cutie pie. Yes it will be a different story for Gibbs when she is chasing him all around.
It was nice having them all here. I whine about the 11 days but it's not like I really have anything special to do. It'll go fast and I don't have to work a full day on my normal days off. It will be get in Ang get out as soon as possible
Same here. I can't remember the last time any of them were over for dinner
It made me happy too. The 11 days will go quick and be over before I know it
It as really nice having them all here.
Yep it will pad the wallet a bit plus it's not like I had anything else to do .
Yeah I'll get to the photos lol
I totally agree on the adorable lol. Yes I do get time and a half so that's a plus
Yay! You had your family dinner! So happy for you and the little peanut! Such a cutie!
How nice to have family over for dinner. Love that 'little peanut' - she is a real cutie. Don't work to hard and do try to relax some on Labor Day.
Yep and it was fun
It's been a long time since I've had them all here together. Unfortunately I have to work on Labor Day too but it will be a short day
