Alone vs lonely

I used to be frequently lonely but rarely alone. Now, I'm mostly just alone and sometimes lonely. I'm the type of person who can be in a large group of people and feel like I'm invisible. I guess I'm sort of a lone wolf.

Well except for this guy.

Sort of a morbid thought but I can't help wondering, if I were to die at home, how long would it take before someone found me. Maybe I should teach Gibbs how to dial 911

I am so sorry. It must be scary at times to live alone. You need several big hugs, wish I was closer. This is one of your cutest shots of Gibbs.

I agree with Ginny...it IS one of your best photos of Gibbs! Sending hugs to you today Ann...I, too, wish I was closer! Do you have any new craft ideas for Fall?

I wonder the same thing, how long would it take before someone found me if I died here at home. Morbid thought for sure.

I pray we both have many more days of LIFE to enjoy.

Great photo of Gibbs.

I don't mind being alone and it's always good to get home where it's quiet and peaceful, no matter where I've just been. Grocery or any other shopping venture wears me out and it always feels great pulling into the driveway.

I am lonely because I miss my my dear husband. Being with church family is a blessing and hugs are given & received all around. We need hugs. My dear feline will come lay on my stomach/chest when I lay down on the bed. Or she'll get up on my chest when I'm sitting in my chair. She is a comfort to me and I am so thankful for her.

(((((Ann))))) Enjoy life, one day at a time.

Love, hugs & prayers ~ FlowerLady

that is not weird, I think of that all the time, people living alone really need someone that contacts them daily, even if by phone or text.. I know what you mean, alone and lonely are completely different.. Gibbs is so cute. I love your big windows looking out. I love light and bright. is that a room or a porch

I think they would miss you at work and come looking for you, so you would be best to die the night before a work day. But...if you are dead...do you really care? What about your kids? Do they check in with you? We have a regular call day for our son, but I'm not sure he would worry if we didn't pick up. Yeah...good question.

All of us would miss you right away when you didn't post. I know what to do to have the police do a check on you too. I happen to have your address you know.

Have a fabulous day my friend. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Gad - but I know those feelings well. Alone but not lonely; lonely in a crowd - often invisible. Yup, I know.

I like being alone. But not everyone does.

No new craft ideas. I wish I could get myself motivated to do some crafting but I'm just not feeling it

Yes I hope we both have a lot of years left. I really don't mind living alone but there are times when it would be nice to have someone here to talk to

You crack me up Lin. I'll be sure to schedule my death for a work night lol
The kids don't check in and sometimes a couple weeks or more go by without hearing from them

I can always count on my blog pals

I knew there had to be others out there that felt the same way

I do most of the time but sometimes it would be nice to have someone to talk to. Gibbs is a good listener but has nothing to add to the convrsation

I approached my doc with the die at home fear and he said, what would you care, you are dead. LOL I will keep checking in always with you!

I am sorry, it is hard to get used to not having that someone around. I learned it earlier on when the kids were younger. At first it was hard to adjust to not having someone home but then I got used to it..loved it and my daughter and grandson moved in with me...and that was a long 6 yr ordeal. I like it being just me and my furbabes.

We would know something was wrong! And I think they'd miss you at work too! I don't mind being alone but when I lived alone for the first time it was strange - I missed just having someone there so I totally understand.

You know sometimes even when people are around a person can feel alone. - I think you are doing a good job dealing with things and having blogging friends hopefully makes you feel less alone. - Loved Gibbs.
