Another one

Wow, it's October 1st already. This year is just flying by.

Sunday I had another cake order to do.

On Saturday I made a big pan of stuffed cabbage. I had some for dinner, I put 4 containers in the freezer and I took some to one of the girls at work. I had been telling her that I was going to make them and she said if I did she would buy some from me because her husband liked them but she didn't.

I gave them to her yesterday morning and she asked me how much she owed me. My answer, "Not a thing" I can't do much these days but sharing a bit of my stuffed cabbage was something I could do.

I love that you are showing your bakery artwork!! The cake is so pretty. I have always had such bad handwriting. I can't even write pretty on paper with a pen, much less a cake and frosting. So I envy yours! You are so sweet to not accept money for the meal!

What a sweet thing to do in giving a meal of stuffed cabbage. That is a lovely gift.

Have a wonderful week dear Ann ~ FlowerLady

Y'know? I don't think I've ever had stuffed cabbage. Looks great!! Hard to make?

Your cake for 'mutt' & jeff's 25th anniversary is really pretty.

Another gorgeous cake, you realize I hope that everyone is in total awe! As you should probably know by now, something homemade/handmade is ever so much more appreciated than a store bought anything.

Pretty cake indeed. I'm terrible at baking. Don't even ask me to decorate a cake. That will never happen.

What a nice thing to do for your co-worker. You are a very nice person, Ann.

Have a fabulous day off. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Ann, your cakes are fabulous. Um...why aren't you making these on the side??? Could bring in some extra $. Just a thought.

Oooh, the stuffed cabbage looks good too. You are a good egg, Ann.

I don't do nearly as many cakes as I used to since there are a lot of people around here who do cakes out of their homes.

No not hard to make at all. I used to cook the cabbage first but I was told that if you freeze the head of cabbage first it softens the leaves and you can easily roll it around the meat mixture

I was much happier with this one than I was with the last one.
I agree homemade/handmade is better than store bought any time

Thanks. Honestly, I have never had the desire to do cakes outside of work.

With these cakes, I don't do any baking. They come in already baked and frozen. We just decorate.
I'm a huge fan of stuffed cabbage but Wade didn't like it so I never made it.

The cabbage looks yummy. I have one in the fridge right now to saute. The cake is beautiful.
