We've had some wet rainy days lately. It's been a perfect excuse for why, even though my lawn is overgrown, it had not been mowed. Yesterday was warm. Too warm for me to use the push mower. To make it worse, my neighbor had to go out and mow his overgrown lawn so now mine looks even worse.
Since yesterday was a nice day Gibbs and I went out for a walk. I should be doing that every day but I just haven't had the ambition for it. I've gotten quite lazy. While we were out I snapped a picture of this front lawn. They always make their front yard look nice.
I ready on facebook that a house further down the street has quite an impressive Halloween display. One of these evening I'll have to take a walk or drive and get some pictures of it.
Right now I have a couple of very frustrating issues going on. If only I had a magic wand that I could wave and have them be resolved. Since I don't, I'll muddle through and hopefully I can get things straightened out.

I'm sorry you are so stressed. I like the yard, especially the little red wagon. Lots of houses are decorated around here, I will do a post on it.
You 'will' get things straightened out. Just take things one at a time and do your best.
so sorry you are having more issues... time for that to stop... I say so and that means they better stop! I can imagine the frustration with the lawn mower... soon the cold will make it stop growing and maybe by the time you need it things will change for the better... wish the neighbor would notice you need help and fix your mower. bob did that for our neighbor once
I hope whatever issues you have will get worked out and put behind you. Frustration isn't fun at all.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Bureaucracy getting in your way? Boo-Hiss! Surely there is someone who can fix that damn lawn mower - I noticed last week that the houses are decorated for Halloween around here - a bit early I thought but I don't decorate, so what do I know.
There are houses in our 'hood that have been decorated for Halloween since September 1. Yes, SEPTEMBER. I'm sick of that stuff by the time the actual holiday rolls around.
Waving my wand for you, I hope it clears up.I put up a smashed witch on the side of the house yesterday.
Hang in there Ann. Things will get better. We all have our paws crossed for you for things to get better. Take care.
I've been thinking about riding around one of these evenings and seeing what people have out. Not as many seem to decorate around here compared to years past.
It will sooner or later, one way or the other.
An issue that coudl be easily? be resolved with the cooperation of another individual. However that's not happening.
I'm sure there is someone who could fix it but again, that's not happening...lol Such is life
Fall decorations in September I can deal with but Halloween decorations in September is a little much. They are probably the same people who will put up their Christmas decorations as soon as the Halloween ones come down.
Thanks I appreciate it :)
I don't think I have much Halloween decorations left. I got rid of a bunch and gave some to my daughter
Bless your heart... I wish we lived closer. we could help--or at least listen and be there for you whatever we can do....
Hugs,
Betsy
I must admit that I've been "dragging my tail" too, Ann. And I think it's perfectly alright for both of us to do that, don't you? I love to see outside decorations for all the holidays... I just don't do them. I did at one time in my life, many many years ago when the kids were small & I was younger, but not anymore.... and haven't for years. But that's perfectly alright too... isn't it. Lovingly, Andrea xoxo
Hope your issues get sorted out. Glad you got out for a walk. That is something I have to start doing. Hope you have a nice weekend.
