Don't worry, I'm not going to get all kissy kissy on you here. This isn't that kind of mush. This is about the loads of mushrooms I saw in my back yard the other day.
Some looked like this
And some looked like this.
I'm not sure if these are two different kinds of mushroom or the same thing but some are older. I'm sure one of you who stops by here will know the answer.

Good grief! I have never seen mushrooms like this! The first one looks like Halloween mushrooms for sure. A witch must have grown them. I am going to check back and see if anyone knew what they are. In the meantime, I am looking up these black ones.
Fabulous looking & creepy at the same time.
maybe they are Halloween mushrooms, never seen either one of these, the creepy ones look like someone poured tar on them. very odd, great find. hope someone knows
use these for creating Halloween stuff
I've seen the first kind of mushrooms, but not the second. I don't know much about them but do buy some at the grocery store now and then.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
They seem to melt, not a long life.
Google image search was not helpful - it recognized only the grass LOL
We've got mushrooms in the lawn too. They will be short-lived as a frost is on the horizon. Not sure I am ready for this.
I have no idea what kinds of mushrooms those are.
Sort look like shaggy mane, or lease last photo is...But check it out. I don't want to give people bad advice on such things.
Coffee is on
Those are so cool. We have some big ugly mushrooms in our front yard right now. I use to collect mushroom nik naks but never ate mushrooms. Now I eat mushrooms but don't collect stuff anymore!
LOL I only recognized the grass too
I'm never ready for frost and cold weather
The first ones ARE very strange! I'm waiting for a fairy to pop out of them! :)
