Lately I've been keeping my camera set on manual mode rather than using auto. I had gotten quite lazy in my photography and decided that it was time to get back to taking control
While I was out doing some trimming in the yard I noticed that the Japanese Iris are blooming so I went in and grabbed the camera. These were all taken in manual and the only thing I did to them was to sharpen them just a bit.

I'm not sure my camera has a manual mode -- it's just point and shoot with a lot of options. Nice flowers. :)
WOWZERS!!!! I don't even know how to USE manual! Looks like it is sure my loss.
Hi Ann, just to let you know that I am going to resume blogging but making this for other authors only, this should stop spam and any other unwanted readers. sorry for messing about. This means other bloggers will be able to read but general public will not.

Beautiful shots. I'm glad you have the camera back out.
Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
That is one gorgeous flower. Such a pretty color and the picture is terrific. Have a good week.
I know the point and shoot camera that I have does have a manual mode but I mostly just used the auto
I don't know all the ins and outs but I know enough that I can get pictures to come out like these
Oh I am so happy that you are going to be blogging. I don't always catch stuff on Facebook and I hate to miss anything you make.
Thanks. Of course I can't take credit for creating the flowers.
Now I need to talk myself into venturing out past my yard.
They are pretty and they spread. I used to have them in just one area but ended up splitting them up a few years back.
VERY nice!
Very pretty. I love those types of iris but do not have any.
Wonderful iris photos.
Summer is definitely coming to your corner of the earth - love the colours...
