First of all let me start by saying that the video I used for yesterdays post did not demonstrate the easiest way to remove the canvas from the frame. And yes, there is a much easier way to do it. If you take a box cutter you can simply slice all the way around and then just pull up on the piece that is stapled down. One blog I read said that she doesn't even bother removing the staples but I found that some would come up with the canvas and some I used a knife to gently lift them up and then pulled them out with some pliers.
But enough of that. Here is what mine looks like.
In the picture it looks like some of the letters are worn or have white spots on them. It's a glossy vinyl and that's just from the light coming in through the window hitting it. The letters really do look solid black.

I love it, so unique! It has that chic farmhouse look that it s popular. Where will you hang it?
Oh, such a perfect choice for the project. Will you hang this just outside the bathroom door? Or perhaps by the vanity mirror?
Nice! I like it. It is fun seeing the different things you do. I am a one trick pony and do quilting, and I never get bored. But at times I would love to try different things but dont need to start collecting supplies for something else.
where do you get those plastic cutouts, like the tub thingy... craft stores? I like this one and it made me laugh, perfect for a shelf in the bathroom... I like that old canvas can be upcyled
Oh - I was hoping for something bright and beautiful. This is - cute?
So fun. That would be great for a guest bathroom. Just saying.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
I love this, Ann!! You could easily sell these, I'm guessing, for some extra cash! I know they'd sell well around here. Love, Andrea xoxo
That is fantastic - so simple!!!! Have a great day!
I love it! I laughed when I saw it. :D
love it...cute as...and just right!
I planned on hanging it on one wall in my bathroom but it doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would. So I'll either put it on a shelf I have in there or maybe make something else to hang with it
Either by the mirror with some other pieces (don't know what yet) or I'll put it on a shelf I have in the bathroom
Sorry no bright and beautiful today :)
It would be but my house only has one bathroom for guests and residents alike
Thank you. I think my selling days are over though. I do believe I have more fun making things and giving them away. Maybe in a year or two I'll consider selling again
thank you
Thanks. I like the vintage feel of it
thank you
I love it!
I love that. The pic is cute the way you went about it is totally cool.
I like it! Very cute. Do they sell those decals at places like Michael's?
Thanks. I've been reading about these reverse canvas projects forever and have wanted to try but was afraid of messing up. This time I just decided to take the plunge and not worry about how it came out
