A Dollar Tree craft project

I joined a Dollar Tree Cricut craft group on Facebook and I have found so many awesome ideas. How people come up with some of the ideas, I'll never know. I can copy what they do but I can't come up with the ideas myself.

There have been a lot of projects using these foam dice found in the toy department at Dollar Tree.

I painted them with chalk paint like so many others had said they had done. Then I dry brushed the edges with black to give them a worn look. I may have gone a little heavy in some spots but it's just for me so all is good. Any way then I had to decided what word I wanted to put on them. Since I'm decorating for St. Patrick's Day right now I chose luck and I used a shamrock in place of the u

CheerfulMonk, yep, fun to make and fun to decorate with :)

Anni I never would have thought to use these dice this way

Joyful Homemaker, I didn't prime first I just painted with two coats of chalk paint. Others said they used spray paint

Ann, thanks

Sandee, thanks. I wish I could come up with these ideas on my own

Pam, thanks. It's amazing some of the things people can come up with. VEry clever ideas and since it's dollar store items they don't cost a fortune to make.

You did a super job, isn't it fun to make something classy out of Dollar Tree stuff.

Reeni, thanks. I've never been very good at the dry brushing thing but they didn't turn out too bad.

they are so awesome, you might think you've no ideas, Ann - but I think you are totally wrong...love the way you revamped the dice; and for your own home decor adventures...
