I've made this card before but I decided to give it a try again. This is a free design from awesome SVG. Com
The front is a bit plain. Also my fine tip pen was dried out and I had to use the medium point. My cricut machine drew the cake. I colored it with colored pencils.
The inside of this card is where it's all going on.
Here's a view from the side.

Oh my gosh, Ann.... how darling!! Love, Andrea xoxo
Wow, this is totally awesome! Maybe even better than a REAL cake! Because you can enjoy it and keep it forever.
I love this card. The intricacy and colors are amazing.
Perfect. Pretty and no calories. I love your work.
I really like these pop-up cards! And this is a really cute cake from the side or the front. And like hootenanny said no calvary's yay
That looks like a lot of 'fine' work, gluing the candles to the 'cake' - also - How did you get the different colored background for the inside cake? This seems really intricate...
That is one awesome card!
Awesome! I have been seeing a lot of 3-D cards advertised on FB lately. I think they are so cool!
The inside is fabulous. Wow, great card.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and an extra treat for Gibbs. ♥
That is so great....I love homemade cards.
That's really adorable!
I would much rather have this than some edible sweet. :)
Andrea, thanks
Ginny, thanks. and this cake won't make you gain any weight
Anni thank you
Grace, it is a bit of work but well worth it in the end. The cake pieces are print and cut which means my cricut sends the images to my printer to print and then you run it through the cricut to cut the images out. I absolutely love that feature.
Sandee, thanks
Pam, thanks, homemade is the best
CheerfulMonk since I'm dieting right now, I would rather have this kind of cake too.
Oh - WOW
