Happy Little Camper and other thoughts.

Yesterday morning as I was heading to work the temperature was 10 degrees. I wished that I could stay home and curl up under a blanket. Today could be just as cold if not colder and I am so happy to be able to do exactly what I wished for yesterday. We are under a winter storm warning until Tuesday morning and could end up with over a foot of snow again.

Lately my email is loaded with spam. I used to go in and unsubscribe to try and get rid of them. Then I read somewhere that you should just ignore them because by unsubscribing you are verifying that it is an active email. So I stopped that but it doesn't get rid of the boat load I get in my inbox every day. I'm really finding them annoying.

Speaking of things I find annoying. I really hate it when I'm on the wrong side of the tracks.

I hate waiting for trains as well. It can be a bit of fun though watching the different train cars and the graffitti on them. Looks like we got the same weather. I get loads of Spam e-mails too, and did not know about how you shouldn't unsubscribe.

I would be so happy to stay home if I were you. When we were first married, we lived in Terre Haute. It is full of train tracks. Back then there were no overpasses...now there are two and thst really keeps the traffic flowing. For the most part. But when they brought Roger from indianapolis back to Terre Haute, and Rachel and I drove back..we got stopped by a train when we were almost there...it was stopped and had crossing after crossing stopped. She finally thought if one more way to try thst took us out in the country and it worked.

Here, no trains except one track going to/from ship channel. With overpasses for the trains. I guess everything is trucked in.
No snow here...lol

I know all about the unsubscribing. Such a time waste because it seems I never get ahead of it. Crazy.
Just a couple of trains that move to the coal piles here once in a while...but always when you are in a hurry to get some place. lol
Most of our train tracks have been made into lovely walking trails. xo Diana

I mark them as junk and then delete them later but I get so many! Take care and stay warm!

The winter months are cold & bleak for most of us. The picture you posted depicts that so well, my friend. May these last weeks of winter fly by for you. Keep dreaming of rosebuds, my dear. Love~ Andrea xoxoxo

Enjoy your day off. I always think of you on Saturdays and Mondays and hope you're doing something wonderful.

Wrong side of the tracks. Reminds me of our granddaughters other grand parents. We med them with Kaylyn was just a toddler and went to a picnic together. She asked me what my zip code was and I told her. She never spoke to me again because I was on the wrong side of the tracks (zip code). They were living large by the skin of their teeth, while we were living comfortably without any debt. They later found that out, but she never showed up to any family events after that. Bless her heart.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

around here, there was once a very busy train crossing and then they put the tracks and station down into a trench. But there is still one on Portage Rd, but it's not such a busy intersection. Plus they took another road to be a bypass of the local area... and the local authorities insisted it would be a fast through road, but then at every intersection they put traffic lights!!!

Glad you got your wish today and were able to stay home and be cozy under a blanket! Thankfully I live and work away from where the train tracks are so I don't have to worry about catching them or not. I do remember growing up though and my mom running a few minutes late at times to go somewhere and then worried we would get the train which would make us later :)

I have been getting a lot of spam emails too and they drive me crazy! I unsubscribe and they go away for a short time then they are back! We still don't have any significant snow. Now I'm going to go knock on wood!

I dump all that spam daily. So annoying.
We live near a light rail station but they usually have just two cars. SO the gate goes up and down quickly. But my husband often gets stuck waiting for the train coming home from work. It seems it is always something to slow us down.
Take care. Stay safe and warm
