Wishing for spring

Last week after our snowstorm it looked like this on Saturday

Sunday it was a little warmer and we had rain. By the end of the day almost all the snow was gone. Monday morning the temperatures had dropped again and by the afternoon it was snowing again I'm writing this post on Monday afternoon so there's really no telling how much snow we'll end up with this time but as of right now is coming down pretty good

Oh gosh, guess you never know what to expect. It's pretty though.

The thing that worries me the most about the cold weather is freezing pipes. We've only had it happen once but it's horrible and can be quite expensive. I check the forecast a couple times every day just to be sure I'm letting the faucets drip if I have to.

I'm longing for spring too, kiddo. It won't be long. I'll hang in there if you will. ~Andrea xoxoxo

I am wondering as I read this if there is anywhere in the world that we don't have to be weather watchers. we watch it not even though we don't get ice/snow but rainstorms and heavy lignting. hope it doesn't get icy and dangerous for when you go to work.

If I were you gr, I would envy you the snow, but right now I am glad we are not getting it. Though we may on the weekend.

It's been an ugly January so far in these parts - cold and snowy and icy - a tad unusual, we've been spoiled by mild Winters for the last 3 years...I can so live without snow.

We are supposed to be having another snow in a few days. I hope yours wasn't too bad for getting around.

I know you're not a fan of snow and we're both waiting for spring. I'm always ready for spring as soon as the new year passes.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the workweek, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

Oh no, not yet. These thoughts are for later.

But I fully understand. Having to shovel your car out, is not a form of Merry Midwinter Hibernating. -sigh-

Most of our snow is gone now. It's in the low 50's here today. Hoping you don't get a lot of snow. We should be clear through the rest of January but then there is always February to worry about.

Oh wow with the snow and then the rain! I'd be worried about freezing rain and the potential for ice with it! When we lived in Montana, I never liked the snow in January. I was always glad when spring came around even if we did get late snow into April. Hang in there, every day gets you closer to spring!

We all wish for a different season at times, we think "I'll move to a warmer climate" or "I'll be better off if I didn't live in this "city" and then a few months later everything looks better because we are in the season we love best...

I remember when I wanted to give up a voluntary job, it took me 5 years to file my resignation. And the same with moving out of a damp and very unloved rental house - years it took me! I finally told the landlord (who was on personal name with) that I would be leaving in the Spring. And I did...

I believe I should start planning leaving this pad, but not sure when...

I'm so sorry you have to deal with it. I hope you have an early spring.

I know a lot of places are getting a lot of snow this year. Be safe out there. When you said it was raining I was concerned about you getting some icy roads.
