A quick and simple project

Saturday I didn't get nearly as crafty as I would have liked but I did do a quick and easy project. I used my cuddle bug die cutter and some tag dies
I can't remember where I saw it but someone took their old Christmas cards and recycle them into tags. So that's what I set out to do. The design on the card pretty much determined how many tags I could get from one card. Some it was only one while others were two or three
My absolute favorite was a card that I used four different sized tag dies and was able to get five tags out of one card

These were all cards that I got two years ago. Now I'll have to see how many tags I can get out of the cards I got this past Christmas.

my favortie is the one you got five out of. they are beautiful. I like all of them and what a super idea to do this. I wish i could show my mother all the things you do with your crafts . she was so IN to crafts, but with no money to spend hers were all really home made. when she died there was a box of cards, every card she ever got in a box

I have used old Christmas cards for tags, too! But I just cut squares and fold them in half! Not very imaginative I know!

Such a cool project! Always seems like a shame to just toss out all those pretty cards.

awesome

but the minute I hear simple and quick - I find myself down a tunnel, seeing how many I could make (of anything) be it tags or something else "simple" - to see how many I could do, scouting around for more base material...and before I know it I have way more than a shoebox of xyz!
