This is a picture of my table at work all of those papers hanging up are orders.
Then of course aside from the daily orders there is also the breads and rolls that need to be baked every day.
Last week I had the donut order for 18 dozen donuts. This week I have an order for 36 dozen. This was the 18 dozen donuts ready to go out the door.
Last week I also had a couple cake orders to do. I forgot to take a picture of the first one but here's the second.
A baker's work is never done.

Now I am so hungry for bread and cake! Yours is a job that will always be there by popular demand.
you are dangling Bread Heaven in front of me. the Bible says man can not live by bread alone, but this woman could easily live on bread. I am thinking you might get sick of donuts and bread when you smell all this all day every day. sometimes the smell of baking in Walmart has me drooling when I walk in the door. I can imagine the scent of all these donuts is overwhelming. how many can you fry at once?
I know there are annoyances with your job (all jobs) but I'm curious if all and all you really enjoy it?
Up before the sun,
A baker's work is never done...

I think all of that was MY order! lolol
Goodness girl!

Do you make everything from scratch? That cake looks lovely.
I know it is hard work but I also feel that is a great part of a grocery store to work in. Way to go!
Lots of baking! Do you get sick of the smell of bread or cakes baking?
You are rocking it.
Love seeing that bread rack.
Work keeps you busy, your day must fly by. :)
You're so busy. I can't imagine.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
That’s a lot of work!
It certainly is never done. Makes me appreciate all the hard work you do and I'll remember to mention that to the baking department next time I go to the store.
