I will agree that changing to
daylight savings time does have it's advantages. It will be nice having it stay light later in the day. I just wish I didn't have to lose an hour off of my weekend.
I didn't bother changing the clocks last night only got around to it about noon today. Wouldn't it be nice if all the clocks changed automatically like the computer and the cell phones do?

Having more light later in the day is nice but ugh changing those clocks! At least it only happens twice a year!
This time change thing has me so messed up! And I lost an hour of my weekend. But on the bright side tomorrow it will feel like I get off an hour early right?
I HATE losing an hour! It's going to take me days to be able to get to sleep at a proper time. I love your new look - your header is adorable!
I think that bear clock is a hoot!
Is that clock the one that chirps a bird song every hour? What does Duke think of that? I'm still exhausted!!
I suppose if we lived as nature really intended we would get up when its light and go to bed when its dark .... hardly any time to work at all during the Winter!!
Ann you are as bad as I am - I too have clocks, clocks and yet more clocks and one of them is a large 8-day wind up clock that chimes on the hour and the half-past. It goes ding-ding and not the Westminster chimes. I also have talking clocks that wake us up with a 'good morning.'
Is your bird clock the kind that actually does bird calls?
My wife has an automatic time-changer--ME!
Love your bird clock!!
guess who changed all the clocks over he weekend, 7 in the house and 2 in the trucks. I missed the COFFEE POT. we woke up and NO COFFEE was ready and we had to wait 10 minutes. arrrrrhhh. how could i miss the coffee pot? it is done now
I changed one clock twice. The clock over me in my office remains unchanged. Last night I got home and saw it was close to dinner. I pounded these keys for a while and looked up thinking it hasn't been that long. When I went for some coffee I laughed at my error, it was almost 8 before I ate.
I was mad. I forgot the coffee pot. Had to wait for my morning coffee. Luckily no one was around to suffer with me. We have an annoying bird clock. Now I love your Bear Clock. Think Positively the next change we gain an hour sleep.
we don't move our clocks until the end of this month...to make it worse there is speculation that they will move two hours instead of one..that's a loss of two hours in bed....groan.....
We've been on our boat for the last three nights so when we get home this afternoon we can start resetting all the clocks. Yes it would be nice if all the clocks changed automatically. Don't forget your car clock.
Have a terrific Monday. My best to Duke. :)
Love that bird clock. I agree I think it should be done on a Monday so it doesn't matter if we lose an hour. I like it staying light in the evening.
All of our clocks except one Does change automatically...I LOVE them!!
hughugs
changing the clocks is a pain the one on my stove is a super duper techno beast which I have never figured out..so it's set right for half the year...:)
This is when I notice how many clocks we have.
I am not a fan of the time change. It just takes so long to catch up on the lost hour of sleep. It is nice to have it later in the evening. Take care and have a great evening.
The pain of it is having to change all the clocks in the house! Love your header! :D
I really like those last two clocks! I know that if I show my wife the bird and the bear ones, she would want one just like them :)
I hope you have a great week!
Beaded tail only twice a year and at least one of those times gives us back an hour :)
sheri there's always a bright side isn't there...lol
reeni I hear ya, I don't realize how late it's getting and it's hard to go to bed when it's still light out but I get up mighty early in the morning
grace, my husbands clock, can't remember where we found it but he liked it
ginny yep it's a chirping clock. I had a cat once that always used to look for the birds every hour...lol Duke totally ignores it
kloggers wouldn't it be nice to not have to go by a clock. The clock does bird calls every hour on the hour
fishhawk, I wish I had one of those, your wife is a lucky lady
philippa thanks, had that for years
sandra oh no, not the coffee pot clock. Nothing worse than having to wait for a hot cup in the morning
out on the prairie I would have been starving by 8. Probably would have ended up skipping dinner though and going to bed
Russ I think the coffee pot was the first one I changed. I'm a grump in the morning as it is...lol
allotments4you oh my 2 hours? Why on earth would they want to do that. I think we should just leave the clocks where they are
sandee got the car yesterday which is rare, it usually takes me a couple weeks to remember that one
poetic shutterbug I like it being light in the evening except that I don't realize how late it's getting the at the last minute I'm running around trying to finish up everything before I have to go to bed
donna Lucky girl.
livintheblues for some reason none of the clocks in my house seem to agree on what time it is. For a change yesterday they all had the same time
tammy me too
marg I don't mind so much in the fall when we get the extra hour :)
julie yes that is a pain and I always end up forgetting at least one
No day-light savings time here in Saskatchewan Canada ~ we let the rest of you change and our internal clocks don't get all mixed up! :)
xo Catherine
catherine, lucky you. I heard that they were considering doing away with it but I guess that's not going to happen. Darn, I really hate it.
