Growing

It's been years since there has been a garden planted in my back yard. Although we got a bit of a late start we did manage to put one is this year. Aside from the fresh vegetable we'll be enjoying it's a great place to take pictures.
We planted tomatoes, green peppers, carrots, green beans, cucumber and zucchini

And look. There are buds on one of the tomato plants.
There's also some weeding that needs to be done out there.

Nice photos of your thriving plants. You'll have some good eats later! I love home grown fruits and veggies. I have some small tomato plants that got a late start (because I made the mistake and planted them from seed) but I may have a late crop of tomatoes this year. Something to look forward to. Have a great weekend and hugs to Duke - woof from Gizzy!

I am so impressed with your gardening skill. I have some herbs and a couple of tomato plants. So far, they are doing well, but the summer is still young. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Eating the produce of your own crops is always marvellous. It's lovely to know that they haven't been sprayed with insecticide, weed killer or worse! It is so lovely to chomp into something fresh and pure and very, very tasty.
Good luck with your crops. :)

You're going to have lots of goodies from your garden! We don't have a spot for a garden so we put tomato plants in containers on the deck. It's like Christmas waiting for them to grow then flower and hopefully give us yummy tomatoes!

I have turned over my veg plot to the neighbours. They enjoy the gardening and I get to enjoy the produce.

We didn't have a spot to plant this year. Next year I will make one. I planted one Cherry Tomato plant. I pick them as fast as they turn red. Eat them right off the vine. Have had three so far.

Congratulations! They seem to be coming along just great. We already have some tomatoes coming on and we can't wait until they ripen (YUM!). Let me know if you want any ideas about what to do with the zucchini (they tend to produce like crazy) :)
