On the way home

Over the years when Wade and I would go to his dads house, we would pass by an antique store that I always wanted to stop at. Of course we were usually on a time schedule and couldn't stop and on the way home they were always closed. Wade was probably secretly very happy because he hated things like that.
Saturday on our way home from the reindeer trail walk I told Amanda we're stopping. I didn't even think to take pictures until I saw Amanda snapping away with her phone. I only have a couple but she sent me the ones she took. I'll save hers for another post

Amanda mentioned that she would like to get a pink tree for Presley. She didn't buy this one though

This cart full of old Christmas ornaments caught my eye.

I saw a couple things that I would have liked to have bought but I behaved myself and only browsed.

I would have gladly gone with you, Ann, just sort of place I like.

I like going thru antique stores but never buy. They're always way over-priced in my opinion.

I love what I've seen in your photos and look forward to Amanda's pix. You have willpower, Ann, to have left empty handed. ^^

I'm not a 'pink' person but that little tree is adorable (tho I like that silver one better and the glitter reindeer - Oh Annie, Annie - you've turned me into a glitter freak!)

That pink tree is gorgeous! I hope you get to go back and buy some things. It would be fun to go after the holidays and see it they discount stuff! Hugs!

Okay...so there is a new adventure for you! Now you can stop at antique stores or fabric stores...or even for an ice cream without anyone else saying "no." I'm glad you stopped and enjoyed!

so glad you stopped, I would love to browse it myself. I like the pink tree and if I had seen this before I bought Charlie brown I might want to get one. Pink fits my house better than red. Christmas red doesn't go with burgundy and rose pink .

I'm glad you finally stopped. I'm not into antiques, but many are. You'll get to splurge when you get your mortgage paid off. We'll all do the happy dance for you.

Enjoy your day off.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and scirtches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I'm so glad you stopped. Mark is the same way, he hates stuff like that. Looks like it was enchanting.

I'm glad you stopped and hope you get to go back again too! I'm happy that Amanda was able to go with you that night and even decorated your tree!

It's fun to roam around in stores like this

I agree, it is usually over priced

I don't know about willpower. It's more a very tight rein on the budget that kept me from buying :)

Pink trees don't thrill me at all. I like mine green :)
So glad like the glitter. We all need a little bling in our life...lol

Yes, I can. And all those times when we've been going somewhere and I would have liked to have stopped to take pictures, I can do that now too

I think the first mortgage free month I will buy myself a little something :)

Amanda is the official family decorator. She does the decorating at her dads house too

Amanda and I didn't always get along so well. When she was growing up we fought like cats and dogs. Now that she is out on her own we get along much better. :)

That pink tree is so cute! I love browsing antique stores. We have a huge one here - it takes about an hour and a half to go through it all. I hardly ever buy anything.

Yep, the cell phone is a nice way to take things home without paying for them :)

I rarely ever buy anything either but it's fun to look
