Mother daughter day

Amanada and I had a nice afternoon on Saturday. We made hamburger soup and cheddar garlic biscuits for lunch and then went out and did a little window shopping. There's a new store that is in  a close by town that Amanda used to shop at when she lived in Colorado Springs. It's called Gordmans and we walked around in there for a bit.  While we were there Amanda spotted this mug and took the picture so I would have blog material.

Monday for my day off was a mixture of a little cleaning, a little crafting and a little lounging. I found this on Facebook and thought it was perfect.

I did actually do a load of laundry too.

Love the coffee but hate the laundry, I have to go to the Launderette and leave it until I get a big pile.

I was lucky enough to go spend a few days with my daughter last week. It was a busy few days, but lots of fun. I am thrilled that we got some wedding planning done and I am sure that it will be one of many days. I love that mug and I love the Snoopy sign as it describes how I feel most days.

Oh, Gordman's is FUN! We don't have them here, but I have been to that store elsewhere.

Sounds like you had a nice day. Those days recharge a gal, don't they?

What a heartwarming post! I'm with you on housework. I call my apartment my playpen. I love it, but it's not for showing off. :D

I've never quite got your "biscuits and gravy" thing...but hey whatever rocks your coffee mug...and a mother/daughter day sounds like a fun thing...

CheerfulMonk, luckily not many people come over to my house so it's just me that sees any messes I don't feel like taking care of.

Catherine, LOL, whatever rocks your coffee mug. I like that.
