Thank you for your prayers

I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers for my sister in law. She has gone through so much over the years. She lost her youngest daughter several years ago and then her husband (my brother) passed away in 2014. Just last week she had to have her senior dog put down and then this, total loss of her home. The house she lived in was built by my brother.

I found this picture on Facebook of the house fully engulfed in flames.

Next to the back deck and very close to the house was her daughters statue of an angel. I still stands virtually untouched.

Mary's daughter started a go fund me page and within 9 hours had exceeded her original goal. I know there is a long road ahead for her but she has always been one of the strongest people I know and with the love and support from her friends and family I know she will make it through.

On another note, I'll be hanging out with my daughter today and don't know if I'll get around to doing a post for tomorrow. If you don't see me tomorrow, I'll be back on Monday.

What a devastating loss. The young man that works for my husband just lost his home to a fire also. It has been hard for him as it was the home that his dad bought and remodeled and his dad passed away unexpectedly when this young man was in middle school. I will add her to my prayer list.

You cannot imagine the number of times we have come home after being gone all night and I will say to Roger wouldn't it be something to come home and find that your home has burned down. Honest to goodness, I think that so often....and if smoke is in the air say in the fall when people burn leaves, I am always a bit anxious till I see the house.

Have fun with your daughter!

That brings tears to my eyes. Too many losses, and now the house with the connections to the loved ones.
