Men at work

I found a notice on my door last week saying that they were going to be doing some work on the sewer lines in my neighborhood. Of course the day they are doing it is on my day off and they ask that you limit things like laundry, showering, flushing, and any other use of water.

Not sure what kind of difference this will make for me but it gave me something to take pictures of.

OF COURSE it is on your day off! I hope their noise didn't interfere with a big nap for you!

We had that "message" a year ago and I don't know, but I had to turn on the washing machine, wash my hair, take a shower ... Sorry guys!
Am I antisocial? LOL

If you eliminate A, B & D; C/flushing shouldn't be a big problem--haha.

I can't help but wonder how many workers were actually working, while others were standing around.

That gives you a good excuse to do what you want...LOL

I'm sure there was a lot of noise too. I hope they fixed what needed fixing.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

There was a project in our neighborhood a couple? years ago to replace the sewers. They had the road torn up, sidewalks and trees removed, and that all went on a good while! We weren’t without actual service too often or for very long, but it was a big job in different stages.

Hope it all works out okay. They were recently doing that in Mark's mothers neighborhood in Texas. Her's went well but some streets they had backups in the house. Can you imagine!!!

It makes for a good blog post. It's too bad it has to be on your day off, but at least they warned you. Here when the water gets turned off they don't tell you ahead of time, so I have a few gallon bottles on hand for emergencies.

yep, at least you knew, but I suppose they think everyone is not at work right now, so they can easily rejig the day of the laundry etc.

Here the authorities send you a letter, detailing things, but often it then ends with "dependent on..." weather, other. Up until a week ago, everything was shut down!
