37 pieces

I've had a project that I've wanted to start but have been a little itimidated by it. It has 37 different pieces that had to be cut.

The butterflies are 2 layers. The colored paper is the bottom and the black top layer. Then I used markers to add some different colors and the detail lines.

Tomorrow the finished project.

These are lovely. I remember my Dad used to make pictures years ago by painting black on glass leaving the picture empty and filling in with different coloured foil sweet paper , he did crinoline ladies and sailing ships and other various things, it was very effective.

I'm loving it already, and can't wait to see it all finished! You do such nice work!

I have metal punches and decorative papers and love to make layered butterflies and flowers. Before AC Moore closed permanently, I was able to get a lot of clearance paper and am looking forward to getting back to more cards and other projects.

Happy paper crafting, Ann!
