Ramen to the rescue

I think someone doesn't want me to have tuna noodle casserole. I bought all the stuff to make it. I was going to have it last Saturday then my sons fiance brought me the lasagna. Then I made swedish meatballs for dinner on Sunday. I ate the leftovers on Monday and planned to make the tuna noodle casserole when I got home from work yesterday. I filled a pan with water to boil the noodles then went to the cupboard to grab what I thought was a half a bag of egg noodles. Turns out there wasn't even a quarter of a bag.

Shrimp flavored ramen noodles it was.

You know I'm desperate for blog material when I take a picture of a bowl of ramen noodles.

I love ramen, and am always looking for ways to jazz it up. The latest being to add sliced green onions, boil it in chicken broth, or top it with a fried egg. Add garlic powder too, and butter. Sprinkle with parmesan. Now you have got me started!!

P.S. I love seeing what people eat!

I love this kind of blog post, it makes me feel closer to you. We've all done things like this, that's why we have our emergency food to bail us out.

I'm stuck on the fact you had Swedish meatballs!! Whoa. Making that takes way too much energy. You go girl.

you go girl. when i lived alone I NEVER COOKED. i did fry balonga and make a sandwich if that counts. i did boil elbows and sprinkle with cheese. i did not make ramen, because i tried it once and yuck... but evenone one i worked with brought ramen in cups for microwave and had for lunch. i brought sandwiches, so i could have more bread and calories.. i am trying to remember just what i ate when i lived alone but that was 33 years ago and can't remember. i may have bummed food of mother. ha ha

I understand the desperation...I am going through the archives most of the time for my photo blog.

I have been lacking for material lately too. I'm tired of no interesting stories due to the lock down. Joe and I walk 4 miles each morning in nearly silence--we just don't have anything to talk about anymore!

I think it is fun to see what other people are eating. Gives me ideas for something to fix. You all have a terrific day.

I love it when I think I have everything to make something and find out I don't. You still pulled it off.

Have a fabulous day, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Amen to Ramen. It's a guilty pleasure for me because it has so much sodium.

it always depends what is "fast and easy" here, but not necessarily a food stuff that is actually a dinner version. Of course of late the fridge/pantry is quite well stocked...

We eat them occasionally, Ron likes them more than I do.
I always post food pictures on FB.
