Welcome baby

I did it. I sat down and played in my craft room and made a card to send to Wades daughter to welcome the new baby.
I debated between cutting a rattle or the baby head and went with the head.

I originally had tried to cut the word welcome but it was small and my machine messed up the cut. I opted to write the word by hand with a black pen.

I fussed with it for quite a while but was happy with how it came out. The colors look different in all the pictures thanks to bad lighting but the last one is how it looks

Awwww, that is so darned perfect. Job well-done. A true keepsake.

Is her name pronounced like Mia Farrow or with a long "I" like in "my"?

Hard is perfect and I love the pink and white polka dots. Yet another great job on the card. I'm sure she will be saving it with all the baby things! My granddaughters is named Nya. Her other daughter is named NY EMA

How sweet and adorable that card is. If you wrote WELCOME then I am impressed...I can't write anything on a craft item that looks good.

First things first - you played in your craft room :-) that's great news.

Secondly although it's still First - is the adorable card you made for the both mother and the new little one...

CheerfulMonk, thanks

Ginny, Thank you. I always seem to get compliments on my handwriting. Even back in grade school I used to get penmanship awards

Anni, I really don't know how it's pronounced. I assumed it was like my but now that you mention it I suppose it could like Mia Farrow

Duni, thank you and yes, it's a nice name

Sandi, thanks

Pam thanks. You do all that paintig and the writing always looks fantastic on those items

Cynthia, thank you

Cathering, yes, it felt good to be doing something in the craft room. Now if I could only keep that momentum going

BeadedTail, thank you
