day two of a 4-day weekend

The second day of my 4-day weekend was Sunday. There is nothing better than sleeping in on a Sunday morning. Once I got myself moving the plan was to pull out my Easter decorations and take care of painting a room that needs to be done. I got the Easter decorations out and started decorating. That was as far as I got with the plan. I ended up doing a major cleaning job and moving my living room around

I made myself liver and onions for dinner. Every now and then I get hungry for it. Let me just say it was delicious.

How were you able to move around the furniture! Looks like Gibbs approves! I have had liver only once, some that I made. Not bad.

I used to love calves liver. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it. Sounds like a great day. ❤️

born during the war, growing up poorer than a church mouse, we had liver and onions at least once a week. it was really cheap. I loved it when mother cooked it, but if I cook it myself, handle the bloody mess, I can't eat it. Your living room looks great and those bunnies are so cute. Looks like Gibbs has given it his paw stamp of approval.

Love the look of your living room, it looks so welcoming. I'm glad you enjoyed your liver and onions. My in-laws made it or ordered it on menus and loved it, as did my own parents. Seems silly to say at almost 73 I don't remember ever having it. Maybe my parents tried to convince me as a kid, who knows ;)
I should give it a try.

I ❤️ liver and onions!! Bud doesn't. So, of course we don't have it.

I had a relative that LOVED liver and onions. LOVED them.

The bunnies are cute over there under the window.

Oh YUCKY...liver and onions. Anyway, it always seems I make plans in my head to get certain things done and ....well, it never happens. I end up doing like you, getting side tracked, normally by the couch.
