Lately I just seem to have an overabundance of things I can use for blog posts. That's a good thing but I tend to be posting things way after they actually happened.
Today I'm backing up to Mother's day. After I got home from work that day Amanda came over to visit for a bit. She brought me a lilac bush and even helped me plant it. That's probably a good thing because if I did it myself it would have greatly reduced it's chances for survival.
I also got a card in the mail from Wade's youngest son. He's the only one of Wade's 4 children that sends me birthday cards and Mother's day cards. He even beat out my son who only sent a text.

He must be the best of the 4! The little bush looks healthy! Remember to water it!
That was sweet of Wade's son. It warms my heart that he would be so considerate.❤️
neither of my sons send cards, but they were raised by a mother who doesn't either. that really is nice that he sent you a card. I am happy with a text and or a call.. in fact neither of my sons even knows it is my birthday, but I do get calls on holidays
That is a pretty card...I am glad he thinks of you. Love lilacs...I hope it grows quickly for you.
I love lilacs. I hope it thrives and brings you joy for years to come. So sweet of him to always remember you. He must be the best of the bunch. Have a great day!!
Oh hope your lilac blooms well next year for you. There is no sweeter scent! What a lovely card from your grandson. Sounds like he is growing up to a very thoughtful young man. Hugs!
How nice to get a card for Mother's Day! They are getting so expensive to buy these days and the price of stamps keeps going up. It really takes effort to acknowledge people with a greeting card now.
That was a nice card from Wade's son. My son only texted me too! You will love the lilac bush when it flowers but be patient because it may not flower next year.
I forgot you don't have a green thumb. It's a good that your daughter helps.
Wade's son did a very nice thing. Good for him.
Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
That was sweet of Amanda to get you the plant and help you with it. That is also sweet of Wade's son to remember you on those days.
Hope your lilac bush survives and you get many blooms.
Such a wonderful fragrance.
I love lilacs! I want to try planting a bush soon. It is always so kind hearted to get cards for all occasions. That was very thoughtful.
Always a good thing when we have plenty to share in blogland :) A lovely gift from Amanda, and sweet of her to plant it for you too. So nice of Wade’s son to send you a Mother’s Day card.
