Father's Day

What Makes a Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so,

He called it ... Dad

~~Author Unknown.~~

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there, I hope that you are enjoying your day.

Duke plans on spending the day with his human dad today.
And he hopes you all get to spend time with yours too.

Also, scoot over to my blog on Monday to re-enter. I ended up deleting the giveaway post and announcing the giveaway in the bead soup blog party revealing tomorrow! Sorry, chica!

Thank you, that's a great poem. Although, I think He missed a few on me..like the patience part, for one. Now, MY dad has the patience of a saint. I only wish I could have been more like him.
