Winter is upon us

It looks like winter is finally upon us. We got snow that actually stuck to the ground. It didn't last long but it was enough to remind me that there are some long cold winter days and nights ahead.
This is what I woke up to last Saturday morning. I know some of you have already gotten worse than this but this was bad enough for me, and I know worse is yet to come.
This is the road in front of my house.

The birds play ground

Squirrely didn't seam to mind the snow so much

  12. Oh Ann - Winter is also with you in November .... what a long, long Winter it looks like it will be. We shall all have to knit woolly hats and scarfs!!!! I don't know about you but I have my fingers firmly crossed in the hope that it will warm up high enough to melt it all and to once more feel a little warmer. At times, I have had up to three woollens on today!
