I have another block to share with you. I didn't do any quilling on this one. Instead I enlisted the help of my Cricut machine and my stash of odds and ends.
The reindeer was my favorite part on this one and there were even reindeer in the patterned paper for the background.

my stash of odds and ends are nuts ,bolts, car and truck parts..which if ya cleaned up up a little could be used to create something..I am just not sure what...:)
That's very pretty and the saying is spot on. I love it.
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
Very pretty,I love the saying too, so true.
So pretty and I love the saying! You are so creative and talented!
That is so beautiful. I love the little snowman.
Cute cute cute thanks for sharing!
I love that little poem ~ and the sweet snowman ~ so cute!

Real nice Ann, I am slowly getting cards out.I laughed at how many I have bought on sale and had in various boxes of Christmas crafts.I am headed out tomorrow to do some shopping after an exciting day along the river watching some nice birds.
Charming, as always. How did you do the outline on the reindeer?
Oh, this is just so lovely! You are so creative and talented!
Do you like managing the bakery? I would think you should be an interior decorator or designer of some sort. I bet you make georgously decorated cakes.
I like this one...I think maybe because ti is really different to the others you have done (no quilling and all)...plus I love the quote!!
livintheblues, I see ultra modern pop art object :)
Sandee thanks I liked the saying too
country mouse studio yes it is true, and thanks
beaded tail thanks, give me an idea and sometimes I can work with it :)
Anne thanks, the snowman was a little wood piece I bought a couple years ago thinking I could use it for something. I finally figured out what the something was
beebeebabs thanks and you're welcome
catherine I browsed through Christmas quotes to find the sayings for all of these. That one was one of my favorites
out on the prairie thanks you. I need to do some shopping too but I have no idea what to get. I think a day along the river watching birds sounds like more fun than shopping :)
grace thanks, The reindeer is 2 different pieces of paper glued together. The Cricut cuts the shape then it cuts a second shadow shape all I do is tell it how big I want it and it cuts everything for me.
ginny thank you. Some days I like managing the bakery and some days I don't. If I have to work though, it's not a bad job. Interior decorator? I'm not so good at that kind of stuff.
allotments4you yes it is different. A real hodge podge collection of things on it that just seemed to go together well I thought :)
you are so very creative. i can not do crafts at all, i can create with photos and in the computer, but crafts are beyond me. my mother was a craft queen. she loved all things crafts and cold sew and knit and crochet. nada for me. i like the deer to
Fantastic! Again, I love the little poem you chose. The deer is beautiful, in fact the whole block and how you arranged the items on it is wonderful!
Very beautiful Ann. I love the Reindeer. You always do good work. You should open a little craft consignment store. I think you would be excellent at it.
Have a good Weekend.
Have you considered using cut-outs of Duke on a card? Maybe you could even have him in the place of Rudolph pulling Santa's sleigh?
Very lovely work, Ann! I like the background and the placements.
I love everything about it as always. You picked a perfect quote with such true sentiment.
You are getting me hooked on this. How in the world does one get started? Is there a kit or something for beginners?
You should give tutorials. You have some of the loveliest I have ever seen!
Have a great day!
Jackie:-)
I like this. I think Christmas is my favorite time of year.
I love this one. It is beautiful.
Oh this one is right down our alley. We love the quote because it is so true and of course we love the reindeer. After all, that just might be Rudolph. We love this one a lot. Take care and have a great week end.
Sandra what can I say I have always loved anything crafty, I also enjoy doing the photo thing on the computer.
duni thanks I liked the way it came together myself
russ aw thanks, I think it would be fun to have a craft consignment shop but around here I doubt that it would do very well
fishhawk I think that's a great idea. I may have to get busy and work on that
Jean thank you
the painted veil thanks. Pretty much you just pull out paper and start playing. I don't use any kind of kit I just see something that sparks an idea and I roll from there. I would say to start out the best way would be to find someone elses work and try and put together your own version of it.
Ratty, wonderful to see you today. Christmas has always been my favorite too although the last couple years I haven't been very into it. I think I got over the bah humbug mood I was in though
Leeuna, thank you very much
Marg I liked the quote too. It very well could be rudolph, I don't see his red nose but it could be there :)
Hi Ann! thanks for stopping by :) I love, love this card - everything about it! Thanks for sharing.
And your tree is gorgeous (living room too, lol).
And Duke is the most precious (and photogenic) dog I have ever seen!!! He is a cutie for sure!
Cheers, Molly
I love the card! Nicer than most you can buy.
Lovely card, Ann! Sorry I am late in commenting but I have been away at my Aunt's 100th birthday party - only just catching up now!
That's beautiful. The saying is so true.
I like the reindeer.
