I'm sure that if you read my post yesterday you will have no problem guessing what I did when I got home from work yesterday. Yep, I got that lawn mower filled with oil, gas and my grass is cut. Yeah me!
I thought I was going to have a picture of fresh cut grass but apparently my computer doesn't want to cooperate today so today you just get words.
The lawn still doesn't look great because when I mowed I just chopped up all the leaves that were still laying there from last fall and now they are all just laying there but it's cut and it looks better than it did. Looks like I got it done just in time too since there is rain in the forecast for Friday, Sunday and Monday. Saturday it says no rain but it's only supposed to be up to 47.

Actually, the leaves left will be mulch, so IMHO, you did right by leaving 'em on the lawn.
I just read my comment. Somone that visits here & reads comments that can't speak English will REALLY be confused with leave/leaves. That was my goal. Oops...now read/reads(jk)

YAY for YOU!!!! congrats on conquering that mower. we cut our leaves up, never rake them, cut and leave. it feeds the grass. they will mulch in and make it better. good it is done before rain... good job

Way to go on getting the lawn mowed. A great accomplishment. Hubby has been mowing here for about a month. Everything is green and no more blossoms.

Good for you, Ann! And yes, cold weather is forecast for here in northern Indiana too, over the weekend. Some forecasters even say to expect SNOW! OMG.... this white stuff HAS to end sometime, right??!! :-/ Love, Andrea xoxo
Told you that you had this!!! I think you might be getting the rain today that we had last night. Seems to travel like that. Today, seems cooler but no rain the rest of the weekend! Yay.....Next time you can take the pic of the yard looking all cool.
Cut up leaves on grass are supposed to be good for it, or so I have read. Good for you! Your yard is not small, either.
