A little progress

I haven't finished but I did make a little progress on my wood burning project.

I might have to go over the wood burned lines again because I got paint on some spots and couldn't wipe it off. I'm not a neat painter by any  means. His face still needs some work too. At first I wasn't going to totally paint it, I was trying to just add color to the edges but that wasn't working out so well for me so I changed the plan.

Oh, Ann, this is so cool! I haven't an inkling on how to do wood burning. I can't even get a campfire to burn.

Darling, Ann!!!!!!!!! Love this!! Have I mentioned before about Sarah, the host of MySerenityCrafts on YouTube? She's big into wood burning & painting. Give her a watch if you wish. She's fun to watch. Love, Andrea xoxo

You do it with an electric wood burning tool. It comes with different tips that will make different marks in your wood when it's heated up. Campfires don't run on electricity so they are much trickier

So you are the one who told me about her. That's where I got the idea for this because I went and watched one of her videos and she was doing wood burning

Thanks, it's a start

I love it....I have not touched my wood burning tools since mom past. I know you know what I am talking about, the ump of doing things is just not there. I find it hard to even get out in the yard. My deck as not been cleaned off so the furbabes and I have not been out to enjoy morning coffee......I need to change that.
