So much for that idea

Monday did not go at all as I had planned. I had an appointment scheduled in the morning but they called and had to cancel. The case worker I was meeting with through OVR had some kind of emergency. Actually that was fine with me because I didn't feel like going any way. I promptly curled up on the couch with a blanket and my tablet. I read, took lots of naps and in general had a very restful day.

Then came time to schedule a post. I grabbed a few pictures from my cell phone and tried to upload them to blogger. Whether it was an issue with my computer or one with blogger, I couldn't upload any pictures.

I'll try again tomorrow

Awesome that you had an unplanned day to do whatever you wanted, and just chill!!!

Once in a while we are given a day to do whatever we want, or to chill out. That can be very relaxing.

I love the expression 'curled up on the couch' this is something I can't do but would love to. The reason? I'm too fat, lol

I would be stir crazy. I'm one of "those" people that has to be doing something...but you work! So, it's GOOD to have quiet days.

phooey on the upload problem and YAY for a day of REST... I am glad I am a person who loves hanging out at home, so many of my retired friends are not happy unless they are on the road going and doing...

Sounds like you had a great day off. I remember those kinds of days.

I also hate it when I can't upload my pictures. I've not had that problem with WordPress, but it happened now and then with blogger.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Sometimes you just need a day like that.

I am always relieved when an appt gets cancelled, even though that means rescheduling...and hate those kinds of problems where you don't know if it is my computer or the other party's problem...maybe tomorrow things will go right.

I always tell them it was my only social outing and they destroyed it.

I'm glad you had a restful day. And this was a great post even without pictures --- I appreciate that you keep in touch every day.

yeah, it was kind of nice but at the same time I was kind of hoping to get things done

Ann said...

yes, it really can

well, I'll admit that curling isn't quite as easy as it used to be.

Normally I prefer to be doing something too but I just did not have the energy for it

I think it was more a problem with my computer since there were other issues I was having. I restarted it today and things are working ok now

I had never heard of OVR until they told me about them at the doctors office. It's a slow process but nice when you get things you need at no cost

Ann said...

Yes, sometimes you do

Ann said...

LOL, I'll remember that for next time. Maybe when I go for the appointment I'll tell her that

Yes, me too. I really like posting something every day even if it's not much. It keeps me connected to all my blog pals.

I so dislike those type of days where computer stuff don't work correct. However, naps I like.

There are days when I have hoped an appointment would be cancelled so I could do exactly what you did with your time!
