1979

I posted this the other day on Facebook, but since not all of you follow me there I thought I would post it here as well. This is a picture from December 1979. I said on Facebook that this was my laugh of the day because I should have known by the looks on our faces that we would have ended in divorce.
I also posted this picture. This was taken on the same day. This proves that I wasn't in a bad mood that day because I was smiling here.

That was very sad!
You were more beautiful when you smile.
1979 was a very special year for me! I had become a mother for the first time!

You have a beautiful smile! My sis and I laugh about old photos....often the worst possible poses or expressions. There is one old photo of my brother, and where he is standing near a lamp, it looks like he is wearing the lamp shade on his head!

I find old photos (mine) subjects that I can laugh about...here, today, maybe not so funny, a rough outcome for all (but yet, a relief?)

I think you look sad in the first and so happy and fun loving in the second.

I don't think I have more than one or two photos of my teenagehood when I was in high school I was so miserable I wouldn't get in front of a camera I think I might have to somewhere. At least you had a boyfriend I went all through Junior High and high school and never had a boyfriend. Ended up married to the first one who asking me which turned into a disaster. I like seeing old pictures to see what people look like before I knew them. I think the reason there aren't very many as because there was no digital cameras back then

My son was born in 1979. I see that you are wearing velour which was so popular in the 70's! I actually loved it!

Being with the wrong person isn't fun at all. I've been there too. A relief to see them go.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Ginny, yes that is my first husband. We graduated together and were married two years after high school

CheerfulMonk, I thought I had given all the pictures that had both myself and my ex in them to my daughter, guess I missed this one.

Ella, thanks. I never liked my smile though. That was my senior ylear in high school

Anni, I often laugh at old photos because I think I look like a goof in almost every one of them. Maybe a rough time for a bit. We were married 21 years and although It was hard in the beginning, I'm not sorry it happened.

Sandee, being married to an alcoholic is no fun at all either.
