I told you yesterday that I saw something Hobby Lobby that had me baffled. We were walking down the aisle that had all the Christmas ornaments and I just can not figure out why they make these or who would want to put these on their tree.
The first two are the most confusing to me.
The rest of them are also equally baffling.
What happened to the good old fashioned ornaments? Or at least make an ornament that is something that is actually related to the Christmas. I just look at these and shake my head and wonder why? What does this have to do with Christmas.
Then again, the tree I put up in the Ann cave has wildlife type ornaments along with snowflakes and icicles. I suppose the wildlife isn't Christmasy either but it sure does come closer than any of these.

Our granddaughter had a skinny Christmas tree in her room that she decorated for every occasion. And I was thinking these could be for a cooking themed tree in the kitchen. That would be cute! But of course, nothing to do with Christmas! Still, maybe in a corner by a breakfast nook or kitchen table...
since I think they are ugly and would never buy them, that will mean they will fly off the shelves.. seems I a stuck in the past and like pretty things on trees, I was shocked at all the black trees and black ornaments and now this is even more shocking. I will check WM today, last week they had stripped the garden shop and were about to put out the Christmas
The can of sardines was another good one! Great way to start the day.
I never found those kind of ornaments attractive but maybe one may be good for a family inside joke or something!
I was thinking that someone might give it as a joke but not my thing. I like the more traditional Christmas ornaments, though I do have birds and animals, and have picked up ones related to an area visited while on vacation as a memory. Couldn’t imagine putting a stick of butter or a slice of bacon on my tree.

My husband is King of Bacon...me no so much I can take it or leave it. Our very favorite Seaboard Cafe since 1992, had the ultimate BLT. Sad to say the owner is retiring and closing up as of Sept 28, 2024. We'll miss them all but everyone deserves to retire
