Well that's disappointing

My intentions were to share all the pictures I took during the fair parade. When I downloaded them to my computer they downloaded as an HEIC file. I had no idea what that was so I asked google. HEIC stands for high efficiency image container. It's the default image format for Apple devices. That's quite interesting considering these pictures were taken with an android phone. I have no idea how that happened and I'm not even going to try and figure it out.

Well turns out that even though I can't open these up on my computer I can upload them to the blog just fine so here are the pictures after all. This is just a few  that I took

This parade is so whimsical! I love the baby blue truck. And the man driving the car with his dog walking beside it on a leash! To me, Moose Haven is a strange name for a retirement community. Th Apple thing is very mysterious!

I'm glad Blogger lets you post them. I love parades but haven't seen one in years. 😊

Love that blue truck and the photos are awesome, clear and perfect. Maybe an update changed the settings on camera, there should be a setting in the camera app that you can change it from HEIC.. have you tried taking other photos to see if the camera does that every time?

I love parades like this. How cool that it goes right in front of your house. I love the blue truck.

Loving all the red and happy parade.
My phone does that too, when I save to my desktop I select 'save as' and click on all images. They magically change to jpeg
I hope the occupants of the giant truck have a rope ladder inside.
Kinda funny my daughter told me they are in the process of helping a young coworker (from Europe) settled in to her new apartment. My son in law has a Tacoma with big tires (not that tall). His truck has running boards however, the day he was taking the coworker around she wore a long pencil jean skirt.
He said she was hating on his truck by the end of the day.

The little fox with the cup came that way. I got it at Michael's for $6.00!

It's a fun thing to do. I've not been for such a long time. Always a fun thing to do.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

Looks like a fun parade. It's odd seeing a parade in an residential neighborhood. They always hold our parades downtown.

That looks like a real nice parade! I have no idea how to change settings. Have you done a search at YouTube. They have some great instructional videos on just about everything.
