Brenda Photo Challenge - Macro Fruit

I'll be putting a post up later today at my usual time but I wanted to do a separate one for the Brenda Photo Challenge
This time the theme was macro fruit. I thought this was going to be a cinch. I like fruit, I sometimes even buy fruit and bring it home with the intentions of eating more healthy. Oh that reminds me, I think I need to clean out that bottom drawer in my refrigerator. I did have some bananas but do you think I could remember to take a picture of them before I ate them. No, of course not. Well why not just take the camera to work with me. I can always find a slow time in the day to take a few pictures of our produce department. However, since I wasn't actually on an official break when I did that, I thought it was best to grab a couple of pieces of fruit and take them back to my little bakery corner of the store.
This one looked pretty peachy to me.

Now I have to reveal the fact that I don't remember what this one is called. Never even tried one but I like the way it looks.

Head on over and check out the rest of the entries in the Brenda Photo Challenge and please come back later for my second post of the day. Duke misses you

Good morning, Ann!

I love the peach ~ the soft lighting really captures the fuzzy feel. Like how it is turned on its side too.

Not sure what the other piece of fruit is either but you sure got a cool shot of it!

Nice visiting! ldh

Yummy, those are fantastic. I think the bottom one is a pomegranate? Although you usually can't get them until fall, so it might not be it..hhmm

A pomegranate is so apt for the spring equinox Ann - Persephone ate 6 pomegrante seeds in the underworld, so had to spend 6 months there and 6 months on the earth. Spring is when she comes back here. Great photos. xx

Terrific shots, and yes, pomegranate. Love them, pain in arse to peel but so much fun to eat.

Great shots! The insides of the pomegranate would be a good picture too - little red seeds that look like jewels.

Love the pomegranate. I even thought of buying one so I could cut it open and get a shot cause they look really cool inside. But didn't want to waste it if I didn't like it so.... Good shots!

Oooh, I love the 'fruity' shots! I think the second one is a pomegrenate.

p.s. I tend to buy a bunch of bananas, then forget about them until they're almost black. oops.
