The green lantern

Today I have another craft that was a free file from Simply Crafty SVGs

I made the first one exactly as the file came but thought that the tealight looked a little lost in it.

Then I thought I would see if I could resize it and I liked this size better. I added the bit of greenery around the tealight and it keeps it from moving around in the lantern

Here's a comparison of the two sizes side by side.

After I took these pictures I decided to decorate the two smaller ones a bit more. Come back tomorrow to see what they look like now.

how big are they, inches wise I mean. tell us tomorrow when you show us more. I really like them a lot. are they the size to hang on a tree or just sit. I like the two sizes side by side to just sit on a table.... tell us how you put them together. I am wondering how they are stuck together... these will make great gifts to take to work or give to friends.... are they paper? or plastic? I have so many questions

Like Sandra, I'd like to know more about these. They are really cute and you did right by resizing and adding greens

How cute are they! Perfect for putting in a vignette with some little elves and pixies! I got a brand new tea light out last night and it wouldn't come on....ggggrrrrr! lol Hugs!

I agree, the light looked lost in the first one. Great job on those. Very cute.

Always trust your creative gut - definitely the smaller size fits the tea light and adding the "greens" was perfect. Looking forward to seeing the embellishments.

I LOVE this!!! So original and unique. And you were so right; the first one was too big. I don't know what you can do to improve it, so I am anxious to see!

These are darling, Ann.... and I agree with you in that I think the smaller size is best. Love, Andrea xoxo

Fantastic! You're always making such creative things.

Thanks. For a tree ornament I thought the larger one was a bit too big also

Trusting my creative gut has led to some big messes in the past but it's always an adventure :)

I didn't do much more to it just enough to dress it up

If I want to have anything done by Christmas I need to get moving

It's not a huge difference in size but just enough

Thanks. I need to start using the cricut machine more and these are good projects. I especially like the fact that the files are free :)

Yes, those little ones look so much better. Thank you. :)

that would look nice but it would be a pain in the butt to light all the tealights

Thanks. I really did prefer the smaller size. It's not a huge difference but just enough
