Hydrangeas

I may have mentioned a while back that this year I didn't have one single bloom on my hydrangea bushes. That's really quite unusual considering the fact that they are usually loaded. Last week I happened to notice that one of them has one single bloom started.

So far, this is all I've got. It's only green, so don't know if it will change to a different color or not. Hopefully these bushes won't do this again next year

Gosh, it looks good and healthy. A late bloomer for sure! Show us if it changes.

Well goodness! Maybe because of all the changes in weather across the US?

Maybe some fertilizer heading into fall and then again in the spring? In Chicago, I had one hydrangea that NEVER bloomed. I should have taken it out, but I kept hoping....

That is odd that it didn't have more blooms this year. It looks really healthy. Maybe some fertilizer this fall will give it a boost.

We have weeds here. We specialize in weeds. That's pretty though.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

So nice that this appeared before the growing season is over with. It was worth the wait for this pretty one :)
