A taste of things to come

Yesterday was a cold one. A bit rainy in the morning. It was cold enough the the furnace was kicking on which I'm really not ready for. I was liking my $20 gas bills. Looks like those are gonna be going up. It was a long sleeve, coffee drinking kind of day.
In the morning I went to my daughter's house for breakfast. Back home for some reading and then at 5 we went to a pumpkin watch. Pictures of that coming.

So Octobrrr is winding down and it will soon be Novembrrr.  It's sweater weather

Our day started off damp and dreary then turned into the most glorious Fall day - a local church does 'Pumpkin Patch' and they were putting it together when I went for a walk - whoa - that was a lot of pumpkins! So - you had a lazy Saturday, good, you probably needed it.

The heater is on here this morning too. It gets warm in the afternoon and then the air conditioner is on. So we are using both still. That will end in November sometime. Oh well.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

That's adorable, it is ceramic? I'm out blog walking today, going through my reading list to visit people I've not seen in awhile. Sad to see how are no longer blogging. Guess that's why they weren't showing up in my feed. Anyway, glad to be here and see you're still in the blog world. Sounds like a good day with family We had a cold day yesterday and also turned on the heat for the first time. Today is a bit colder, plus rain. Argh..........I feel the weather really has turned the corner.

What a cute little pumpkin guy! So cold here, too! I guess fall has finally come...no, make that winter! We went to Dara's soccer game yesterday morning. I had worn a sweater. Still, the cold wind just cut through us, and most everyone froze! Little Jazz huddled under my arm with part of the sweater wrapped around her. But even worse, I HATE the early dark. And soon it will get darker earlier.

Yep---the cold weather finally got here too... Maybe our leaves will change now....

We change our clocks soon --and it will be dark here about 4:00 (since we are central time --but right on the edge of Eastern time)..... GADS--not ready for that!!!

Have a great day/week.
Hugs,
Betsy

It's been cold here. I suppose a reminder that winter is on it's way. I can kiss my $20 gas bills good bye since the furnace has been kicking on...lol

I wouldn't mind cold morning if it warmed up in the afternoon. Lately it's just been cold all day

Not sure exactly what it's made from. He's a cheap Dollar Tree find from a couple years ago.
There are a lot of bloggers who have up and quit. A lot have moved on to Facebook.

I remember sitting out in the cold freezing while watching games. Not so bad for the kids playing since they are running around but for those of us who are sitting still watching it gets pretty cold.

It's getting closer to that snow thing that you love so much...lol
I don't like the time change. I wish they would quit doing it.

I had my air conditioner on on Tuesday and Wednesday (mainly for my contractor who was working in the house) and turned the furnace on Thursday. It's that time of year, I guess. The kitties are waiting for me to turn the fireplace on, I think.

No, the tray isn't from Pioneer Woman. But I LOVE her things, and have quite a few of them in the kitchen. I didn't know she has galvanized!!! I will have to look for it.

Heard that there is a lot of cold weather all around the country. We have Santa Ana winds right now which is what happens from October to the end of May. Winds or rain, it's usually one or the other. Stay warm!
